2006 Chevy Aveo Headlights

Usually when I start the car my runner lights come on recently I turned on the car and the runner lights did not come on and the low beam head lights do not come on but if I switch to high beams I have lights what is wrong and what do I need to check

I have the same problem. Last night I started her up, turned on the head lights, there was a quick flash and then nothing. The high beams still work but no low beams. The trouble shooting I've done so far: checked relay OK. Checked fuses OK.
Next I'll check for voltage at the lamp connections if I'm getting current there I'll check for continuity across the lamp's low beam filament. Please correct me if I am forgetting anything
