There is a constant sound of a motor running from somwwhere under hood or under body that will not stop even when the vehicle is turned off and the key is out of the ignition. Had to disconnect the battery to shut it off last night. At the same time, the ABS light came on. I pulled the fuse for the ABS and it did not stop. Any ideas on what it could be?

This time I pulled the correct fuse for the ABS and the motor stopped running. So, is there a motor that drives the pump for the ABS? If so, is this something I can replace myself?

Thanks,

Chuck
