2005 Chevy Avalanche Engine oil smells like fuel

I've never checked the oil level in my truck until yesterday and noticed it smelled like fuel. The truck runs great - not one spec of trouble. Had an oil change today and they did not mention there was a problem. Maybe it's supposed to smell like fuel =)
What are your thoughts?

No its not suppose to mix with the oil its got no business in there-either you're not warming up your vehicle properly or you have an injector/s or a fuel pressure that's leaking
