The car should run fine if you have repaired the actual fault? Clear the codes. Test drive the vehicle. And see which codes re-occur?

Take the vehicle to a good autoparts store (autozone etc.) and have them clear the codes .. ask them what the codes are and write them down ...incase the light comes on again so you can see if it is the same codes ..(most good autostores do this free) or you could just disconnect the battery for 5 minutes ..you will need the radio code if you do this and will have to let the PCM(computer) do a relearn drive cycle afterwards .. drive in stop and go traffic and highway for about 15/20 minutes standard driving !!
