1994 Chevy Astro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

My 94 astro is very hard starting when cold and once it starts it runs rough. I changed plugs and wires but no change and it gets terrible gas mileage. What could be the cause?

Hi:
It could be an O2 sensor. Have the computer scanned at a parts store for trouble codes. If a code is found, it will identify the problem. Keep in mind, most parts stores will scann for free.
