Check Engine Light and Trac off lights are on

High RPM's at low speeds

Problem comes and goes- Toyota tech said it was knock sensor #2 that was out, I had both replaced- lights went off- 8 days later, they are both back on

What do you think could be the problem and how serious is it?

I have to be honest, I'm not sure what a knock sensor would do to cause high rpm's at a low speed. Is the transmission shifting properly?

Another thought. Have you had the computer scanned to determine if it is the same trouble code or perhaps a new one?
