Hi,

These are a little trickier than normal. You will need something that can pump the fluid upward into the transmission.

If you look below, I attached the directions. Let me know if you have questions that I can answer.

Also, note that there is a replaceable filter. You would need to remove the pan to access it, but I would recommend it gets replaced at the same time.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

So, these do not need to be at a certain temperature? Filling from below is not an issue, I have several adapters. But do I start it then and disconnect the adapter and install the plug?

Hi,

If you are draining the fluid only, it should be approximately 4 quarts. Start by adding 2 quarts and top off from there.

When checking the fluid level, make sure the vehicle is on a flat surface. Next, start the engine and shift it through all gears.

Next, the trans temperature should be approximately 100 degrees F. I use an infrared thermometer to test the pan temperature. Once at 100 degrees, I continue adding until the fluid begins to drip from the fill tube you installed. This is done with the engine running.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe
