Car will not start, absolutely no power, lost power while driving

Lost power while driving car shut completely down, battery is excellent, will power up and start when connect battery jumper cable from battery post to hot wire post to under the hood fuse box, will shut down when I disconnect the jumper cables.

Hello,

It sounds like the issue could be that the alternator is not providing adequate charge to keep the engine running.
Typically, with a bad alternator the engine can stall, usually when coming to a stop and you won't be able to start it back up. And jump starting will start the engine but will shut down when the jumper cables are disconnected.

The battery is good, it will not start, and no power if you try and jumper box or car to car. The only time I get power and everything is work is when I jump from battery to the cable post in the under-hood fuse box.

You might want to get the alternator tested. It does sound like a faulty alternator. If the alternator tests out good, then you are looking at wiring issues.
