I have a 2014 Lancer Ralliart. My left front caster is off by one degree (1.5) the alignment place that checked my alignment said to replace the strut and that will fix it. I read online that it is a control arm or a control arm ball joint that is the issue. Would any of these make my caster off by a whole degree?

The car only pulls to the left when accelerating. Otherwise it goes fairly straight.

Good morning.

It sounds like they are guessing. It could be either that can cause the caster to be out. It is a non adjustable angle.

Somebody needs to check the actual failed part. Something happened on that side to put it out of alignment. Did you have an accident or hit a big pothole?

I would not rely on the internet as it is most of the time inaccurate. You need a qualified tech to give you the exact issue.

As far as pulling on acceleration, have them check the axle shafts. Bad inner CV joints will cause this issue.
