My car started to overheat, and it threw two codes. The first one is 2F71 and the second is 2E84. I'm not sure why it says my water pump when it's only a couple months old. Also, I check the fuses and all of them are good.

Hi,

Do you hear the cooling fan turn on? Also, if possible, I need to know the P-code. The manufacturer's codes are sent to me in three different directions. For example, electrical box fan circuit high, low, or open circuit. The P code will point me in the right direction. (see pic below)

Also, please double-check the other code, 2E84. It isn't listed for this vehicle. Let me know if the vehicle is overheating if you are driving at highway speeds.

Let me know

Take care,

Joe
