1996 Cadillac STS A Swap

I have the problemayic 4.6 L Northstar. I wiant to know if I can readily swap it out for the 4.9Lm or would anoyher engin swap be easier?

There would be more difficulty than it would be worth, and I would say next to impossible. Different frame/mountings, different transmission, to name a few. The STS lost the 4.9 in 93-94, and the entire geometry changed under the hood.
