When I am sitting with the car in drive, and my foot on the brake- the car is making a clicking noise and feels like it is still trying to go forward, I can feel it almost bucking a little bit. What is that?

If the engine is surging it will try to move forward against the brakes. This can be caused by an engine misfire or vacuum leak. Does the engine feel rough? If so it may have a misfire. If it hunts or surges (revs up and down) it is most likely a vacuum leak. Is it ever hard to start?

No - its not hard to start but it does idle really rough. The whole car vibrates when it is just sitting in park.

Then it has a misfire. Has it ever been tuned up? May have a plug wire arcing out, that could be the ticking noise you are hearing
