Start and comes across dash security?

Have 92 eldorado sometimes put key in to start and comes across dash security remove key wait 3 minutes got new key still does it help can disarm security

You can bypass it, not disarm the vehicle theft deterrent. What you have is a faulty ignition cylinder that has wires that are breaking/broken. With the key resistance value known, you would need resistors of the same value to bridge the connector terminals and trick the system.

I have a 93 eldorado I have put a resistor in to bypass security, but still wont start. Wondering if you found your problem or any suggestions?
