My 2007 DTS is having problems with the keyless entry remotes. About 2 weeks ago I pulled up to the store and got out the car off and pushed the lock button on the remote and it locked the doors and went into the store and when I returned to the car about 20 minutes later and pushed the unlock button the doors would not unlock. I used the key to unlock the door and once the interior lights came on the remote would lock and unlock the doors! Once the car sits for more than 10-20 minutes the remote will not lock or unlock the doors? I took it to a dealership and they showed them what was happening and they had the car for 3 days and said they could not find anything and it worked fine. When I should up to pick up my car it would not unlock with the remote and they swore it worked fine until I showed up! They then "flashed" the remotes again and it still wont work. Have you ever heard of this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the dealer reference this bulletin?

#07-08-52-001C: Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Inoperative, Poor Range, Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Message Displayed, Remote Vehicle Start (RVS) (Replace/Reprogram RCDLR, Replace Antenna and Transmitters) - (Aug 27, 2009)

Subject: Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Inoperative, Poor Range, Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Message Displayed, Remote Vehicle Start (RVS) (Replace/Reprogram RCDLR, Replace Antenna and Transmitters)

Models: 2006-2007 Buick Lucerne

2006-2007 Cadillac DTS

2006-2007 Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo

This bulletin is being revised to update the Parts Information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-08-52-001B (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

Condition
Important: This bulletin does not apply to vehicles built after the following dates:

"Â DTS / Lucerne: 5/1/07

"Â Impala / Monte Carlo: 3/1/07

For vehicles built after these dates, refer to SI for diagnosis and repair information.

Some customers may comment about one or more of the following conditions:

"Â The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters will not program, function and/or the RKE transmitter low battery message is displayed.

"Â The Service Tire Monitor System message is displayed.

"Â The new RKE transmitter cannot be programmed.

"Â The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) and/or Remote Vehicle Start (RVS) transmitter has poor range.

Cause
Any of these concerns may be caused by an internal fault with the transmitters and/or the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) software/hardware.

If they hadn't, and it is built before 5/01/07, it certainly could apply.
