2000 Cadillac DTS P0419

I have a code P0419. I took it to the dealler but because it is not causing a drivability issue, they couldnt fix it. I checked the air pump behind the passenger side fender and the hoses and pump are dry. The pump does come on when the car is started. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Do you have two air pumps? You should if you have one on the passenger side, a vehicle with one pump has it on the driver side only. Make sure both of them come on, check the maxi fuses for pump one and two, and if you can get to the electrical connections at the pumps, disconnect and check them, often times there is some heat damage at the terminals.
