1999 Cadillac Deville body control module

The blower motor, door locks, trunk lid, gas cap cover are not working. The mechanic at a local garage where I took the car checked out the problems the best he could with the equipt he had available believes the problem is the body control module. He suggested I take the car to The Cadillac dealer for diagnostic tests and possible reprogramming. Would like info on the B C M

It is not going to correct the blower motor, has nothing to do with it. Are these functions inoperative with the remote? The fuel door and trunk lid can be shut off with the valet switch which is in the glove box, and neither will work with remote or respective switches if valet is on. If this is a remote function issue only, have your fob(s) tested. The blower motor can be checked by checking for power and ground at the blower connector.
