I just bought a used caddy and the trunk was shutting fine when I bought it. Now when I try to shut the trunk it wont shut all the way. The trunk is powered and you just barely shut it and it goes down the rest of the way by its self, but it isnt going down at all now. Do you have any suggestions that may help me to get the shutting mechanism working again on the trunk? Thank you.

More than likely, it needs a pull down switch. Check the trunk for evidence of a water leak(i.E. In spare tire well). I have seen pull down actuators with round motor housings, where the magnets have come loose from the case, and become inoperative. Most common is a failed switch.
