Hello,

Ok, what wires are you speaking of? Your Vehicle is an OBD2 and you will need and OBD2 Code Scanner or you can go by your local parts store and have them pull codes. However, if engine light is not on then there is most likely no problems.

You say the engine light does not come on with the wires(?) Does it come on for couple seconds when you first turn the key to the on position?

Ok I wanted to see if I could get the codes from the car so I Use a jumper wire and connect terminals A and B on the ALDL. And I was suposed to see the check engine light come on and count how many flashes to see what the code ment but when I did that there was no engine light and I also read that when you turn the key in the on spoition the warning light is supose to be on and if it wasnt it might be a computer problem.

Ok, well the computer thing is not necessarily true. You would be better off using a OBD2 Code Scanner to get codes. The codes are 5 digits and the first digit is a letter.

If there is a problem within engine it will turn the engine light on and the problem can be just a sensor and not the computer. It could be a simple fix.

Well depending on your problem. So give me as much detail as you can about you problem when it started, any and all drivability problems. Anything that is or was no normal with the vehicle.
