Bumper attachment images?

Hi there,

I need to get a re placement front bumper for the Barina and I'm looking for images of the passenger and drivers side mounts/clips that are part of the bumper to make sure that the 2nd hand one isn't missing any.

Hello,

Your Holden Barina TM is based on the Chevrolet Aveo/Sonic T300.

Below are pictures of a Chevrolet Sonic front bumper.
Accident damaged, right-side mount for wheel arch liner missing.

I could not find any usable pictures for a Holden Barina TM.
Perhaps you could post some clear pictures of your vehicle's front bumper once removed.

Thanks Boris,

I followed this today and was able to remove and install the replacement bumper I had bought.

Would you also know where I can find info on how to change the gear knob as the current one is falling apart?

Hello,

Happy to hear that my information helped you to replace the front bumper.
The gear knob simply unscrews.
I could not find a decent tutorial for your model so I will give you the Chevrolet/Holden Cruze video, the setup is very similar as shown in the video. I would advise to apply some Loctite/thread lock to the screw thread before fitting the new shift knob. This will help hold the new item in place.

Hi Boris,

I thought it was a twist off, but I’ve applied quite a bit of pressure and it’s not moved. Any suggestions how to confirm if it’s definitely a screw on?

Hello,

There are 2 options, either it is screw fit, as previously shown or it is pushed on, secured by a knurled fitting. This should also be secured with a screw under the gear pattern emblem.
Remove the gear emblem, underneath you should then find a screw.
Remove screw and then pull up on the gear knob.
