Was changing the battery on the old Buick, when I noticed this sensor behind the battery. After looking up the part number, 09359409, my leads have told me it is a Map Sensor. I took a look under the hood to see where it could be, but am stumped. I found a rubber hose that most likely connects to the bottom of the sensor, but am unable to find where the sensor itself plugs in. Can you help me find where on the engine this sensor should plug in?

That looks ike a fuel tank pressure sensor to me. Was it attatched to something or just laying there under the battery? Are you able to read a number from it? If so get me the # and I can look it up at work.

This is a number on the front: 09359409

On the end of the sensor it also says PBT-GF30<

It says on the front, under the first number Sensor Pressure. Thanks for the reply.

Ok I put the number in the GM computer and it is a MAP sensor but it does not fit your car. Someone must have left it there.I would pitch it in the trash.
