I changed the alternator and battery in this car, but the alternator is still not putting out. I found out that the car is just running on the battery. I got the car started again and disconnected the batery and it stalled. So I am assuming that the alternator is faulty or someone said that this year of car still has a voltage regultor. I dont think they should be in the alternator. Do you know I look and didnt see one. Also to change the belt do you have to release the ider pully because there is no tensioner on this make.

Regulator built in alt. Check ERLS fuse and Gague fuse. Also chek to see if power is going to Red B + wire and smaller red wire on plug. You have a tensioner on this site go to Popular Site Links click on Drive belt routing diagrams and fine the location.
