I have bought this car , and have had it for three weeks. It has run fine up until the other day, while driving the oil gauge fluctuated. Then the service engine light came on indicating low oil( the oil levels are fine) The car stalled. Checked a loose hose where the vaccuum seal was , it was cracked. It ran fine for about an hour , then it did the same thing over again. The car eventually will start up again , but stalls out after about an hour or when you shut the engine off. Can you help me think of what may be causing this, a sensor maybe?

thanks for the help I really love my classic Riviera and would like to get it repaired asap.

Oil level is fine, took it to the autozone to have them use the key to read the code, and it said code 17, so im thinking its the module, I think thats what you call it, im no car expert by far, but im thinking cuz its a three coil that maybe its about time that needs to be replaced? It stalled on me again today and now it wont start back up. So that part is gonna cost me like 150.00 for it. Would that be the problem or would it be something as simple as a sensor? Thanks for your input, I truely appreciate it
