Brakes problem
1997 Buick Riviera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

I need to replace all of the metal brake lines on my 1997 Riviera. Everything from the Master Cylinder to the calipers. What do you consider a fair estimate on the cost for this repair?

Brake lines are tough to estimate as you don't know what kind of " fun" you'll run into along the way. Will bleeders snap, are the fuel lines too close that can end up leaking, etc.

I would think guess $500-1000 as a realistic possibilty.
I would suggest using coated lines or painting/protecting them when you are done installing
