Hi. Just bought a 2005 buick rendezvous and while driving it when I step on the gas midway it will start to slow down but when I lighty step on the gas it drives pretty well. Could this be a transmission problem? Or maybe a sensor?

Do the RPM's rise when it starts to slow down? If not, it sounds like a bad fuel pump to me. If it can't produce the fuel pressure needed, when you push "Midway" on the throttle, the engine is getting the air it needs but not the fuel. Thus, it boggs and you lose power. Let me know about the RPM's and if the check engine light has come on.
