2005 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl 21000 miles

Two things are ongoing - this car was purchased used, from a dealer who said it had passed the 16 point GM check. Anyway, the "AWD Disabled" light is lit more than it is off. I have had it checked out by the dealer (who drove the car for 30 miles, only to say that the light didn't come on - the light came on 2 days later and stayed on for about 1 1/2 weeks). Secondly, the "Change Engine Oil" light came on this week (I just had the oil changed two weeks ago at the dealer); then, the car stalled as I rounded a corner.

Take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. They will do it for free. Let me know if they find any codes.

As far as the oil change light, that's an easy fix. When the oil was changed, they didn't reset the system. All you need to do is get in the car, turn the key to the run position (do not start) with the engine off, press (to the floor) and release the gas pedal 3 times. Wait a few seconds and the light will begin to flash. Turn the key off and it's reset. If it doesn't flash, turn the key off and then check if the change eng oil light is off. Some won't flash but do reset.
