I canot get my ignition key in the lock only half way
ao it wont turn how do I getn the cyclinder out

It sounds like the tumbler is bad. You will need to remove the steering wheel and part of the column to repair it. However, if you have an air bag and a security system, I recommend having a dealership do it because the security will need reset to accept the new key.
