The windshield wipers have stopped working at first intermittantly, now for good. Have checked the supply line and fuses. What's left, the control module? Is this a common Buick problem?

If at first they stopped intermittently and now they are dead, iw ould be leaning towards a bad wiper motor. Try tapping it with them on and see if they will start to work.
