1993 Buick Park Avenue trunk

If u cannot get one from a local junkyard try this, pull the coil out of the side of the motor to where u have a hole I kept turning the metal piece the trunk latches to untill it was low enough for my trunk lid to grab and seal, where u pulled out the copper windings in the motor stick a large bolt in there and turn it untill it is snug. Because the metal U shaped thing the lid latches to will turn itself resulting in the lid raisin up by itself over time, snugging that bolt in there will keep the the U shaped metal thing from turning. Good luck mine is still keeping the trunk lid down. Lemme know if u have any questions good luck
