2 weeks ago Check Engine, Code P0102. Engine starts easy, runs smooth 99% of time, but sporadically cuts out for 1 or 2 seconds, then runs again for a minute or 2 before another occurrence.
Have replaced MAF, Air Filter, Plugs & Wires, Fuel Filter, MAP, PCV, and TPS, all to no improvement. No Vacuum leaks. Seems to run better when cool in morning, has more frequent misses when at normal temp.
Based on lots of 3800 V-6s out there with 100K miles does anybody have an educated guess as to where I look next for a solution?

Hi thgjhight, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

You practically got everything that I'd suggest-okay have the oxygen sensor/s, knock sensor, camshaft position and crankshaft postion sensors and to include a fuel pressue checked-Try running injection cleaner thru and see what happens. Bear in mind this one can be a nightmare being an intermittent problem-

Thks rasmataz. Turns out I had added some Rislone fuel injector cleaner (6 oz) to a nearly Empty tank, and the engine quickly started running better, even peppier, with no missing. Check Engine light wentt out.
But as soon as I added about 10 gallons of 87 octane, the intermittent misses returned, Check Engine light returned.
What would this indicate? Possibly contaminated gas has left something in the tank? Or lines? Or fuel pressure regulator? It has a new fuel filter, but maybe it has already been contaminated.
Thanks again for any help you can offer. I am tired of replacing sensors just because they are on the list.
