I went to start it and it cranked, but would not fire. I decided what the heck and put the accelerator all the down. It fired, but would not stay running when I took my foot off. After a few tries, the car made a slight puff noise. Now it will run, but I'm sure this will happen again. Someone mentioned fuel pump, fuel filter or some GPR(?) Valve.

Sounds like you may abe running too lean. Any engine codes? This could be caused by a problem with fuel system as descirbed in the other post, or it could be caused by too much air entering the system. Check the intake and vaccum system for leaks. Check to make sure you are getting a spark at all your plugs.
