1997 Buick Lesabre The car runs but won't Move

Transmission problem
1997 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 130OO miles

hi this is d. Parker and my car was driving yesterday I heard grouling noise then it stopped I came to acomplete stop at the stop light then it turned green I tryed to eccelerate in drive but it wasn't going anywhere so I put it in all other gears still wont go.I put a scan tool on it no dtc codes were found so im thinking that it could be the lockup clutch or the drive axle shafts or just don't know. So guys can you please help me out thank a million!

I know it sounds silly but firstly make sure you have enough fluid in the tranny, and you should actually have the tranny serviced too, fluid and filter.

Quite possibly, the tranny filter and fluid will make the tranny slip if either one is dirty

The atf looks fine and taste good it doesn't have no dirt or it isn't burnt

Ok but does not mean the filter isnt full, I would still change it just to cross it out on the list of fixes
