Check your transmission fluid condition and level if okay bring it in and have it checked out

Does the car try to creep a little when you put it into gear?
If so, quickly put it into low (1) gear.
If the trans engages then the main pressure regulator in the trans is sticking. When you put it into low it engages the booster valve.
Try a bottle of Lucas trans conditioner.
If it doesn't improve have the trans checked out by a reputable shop.
I've had both problems.
