have code p1440 on obd tester which states egr valve stuck open, want to know where egr valve is located and how much troubl it is to change

The location should be the same as a 1998 Buick. On the right side where your intake boot from your airfilter goes to your intake manifold(Throttle Body) Right behind that you will see the EGR valve body & connector. It takes a 10mm to remove the unit. Once removed you can use enginebright or something similar to remove the carbon build up on the shaft(internal) to free it up and reinstall. Replace the base gasket if needed.
