In snowy weather the trac off, lock off and service engine lights will occasionally go on. If I turn the car off and then back on the lights do not go back on. Is this a problem with the electrical system or a sensor

Hi well the traction light comes on when a sensor see, s a wheel slipping. Although you may not notice a slippage the wheel is slipping. Basicly a warning to let you know you are on ice and snow. And yes a bad whees sensor can give a false reading as well as other sensors. A scan will tell you which sensor is a prob. The check eng also scan will tell you. Your other light you wrote lock. Not sure about that one. Good luck billymac
