1998 Buick Century 3100 motor replacement

I need to change the motor in my 1998 buick Centry I have found a motor out of a 2000 Chevy Malibu. The question is, will that motor work in my 1998 Buick? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, it should, but I don't have the cross reference information to confirm that. All of the sensors from you engine will need switched for computer reasons because they change things so often. THat is why we always recommend direct replacement parts.
