The service engine light is on, I had this scanned, my code are 1650, where are these sensors? Can they be bought and replaced? Would this cause the transmission not to shift properly?

To my knowledge 1650 is driver and that is in the ecm. You may have to have your computer flashed or replaced.

I cleared the codes, just wondering, do you think that I would have to install a new chip or is that just for performance? And would the transmission have sensors inside and would they need to be replaced?
Thanks
Dennis

Yes, that is also an option, they are not just for performance, and there are several sensors associated with the tranny
