Nearside front brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (1.1.11 (c))
Offside front brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (1.1.11 (c))

Copied and pasted from CAR MOT (2 Advisories) history check on UK GOV website.

Any ideas how much this costs to replace or fix please? Car I'm interested in buying. Is this a expensive or costly job? Any help guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help. Sam

This depends on the extent of the corrosion. If all the brake lines need to be replaced then this could cost up to $500.00 US. Most of this would be labor but it could be this costly just because replacing the brake lines are not extremely easy but is a pretty common repair. Especially on your side of the pond with all the salt and chemicals they use on the roads.

This is not a repair that I would worry about or let me not buy the vehicle because it is common enough that most any shop will repair it. If this is the only reason you are thinking of not buying it then I would go ahead and buy it. But if there are other reasons then maybe you pass and look for other options.

Let me know if you have questions.
