Where is the brake light switch located?

When you press the brake pedal do the lights come on? If they do then this is not the issue. This vehicle does not have a traditional brake light switch. There should be a sensor somewhere on the pedal but more then like it is in the master cylinder. Basically the front SAM takes this input and sends it to the rear SAM to apply the brakes.

Take a look at the wiring diagram below that will show this.

I suspect this issue is more likely the shift interlock cable. I attached this process as well. Let us know what you find. Thanks
