There is really nothing special from the BMW stock battery and a battery off the shelf at a local auto part store. The important things are to choose the one with the best warranty and at the right price, and most importantly to match up it's size ( cranking amps etc.) To the OEM battery.

What about the tube on the side, RC, AH, etc. After market batteries do not come close to the same specs as original: 570A
