Hi. The outside passenger side bulb on my car listed above stopped working and before I buy a new bulb I wanted to remove the old bulb to be sure I was ordering the right part. I twisted open a 4” wide circular easy to reach black cap, unplugged a black cap to the back of what looks like a round halogen bulb but now I can not twist it or jiggled it free. I am stuck. There was no ballast connected to it. It is not a Xenon light. Can I pay someone to do a zoom meeting to look at it and tell me what is wrong and what part to order?

Hello,

Are you talking the headlight or the parking light? Upload a pic. Some bulbs are held in with a spring wire that acts as a clip but if you upload a pic I can tell you. Let me know. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed. Tom

You were right Tom. Thanks. Just got the bulb out. It was a clip with wings that had to also be twisted a tiny bit. Bulb is a Osram 64210ST 12V 55W H7U DOT E1. I think it is a warm in the Kelvin color scale (lower, bluer or whiter is higher) and only 1600 Lumens. Can I replace with a brighter lumen bulb or does it have to be exact exact? Thanks again.

Great glad to help.
You can put a brighter one in absolutely as long as it calls for your application. It just has to be the same shape to plug in. Electrically is doesn't matter. If we can help with anything else we'll be here.
