The battery died in my 2002 BMW X5 this weekend. I charged the battery, started the vehicle, and found that the fuel gage, RPM's, and on board computer were not working. The clock is out and the temperature changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The on board computer is blank. I looked at each fuse and ran the codes, but everything looks fine. What do you think is the problem?

Thanks,
Jason

The I-bus cars usually have an internal failure of the instrument cluster that causes the issue you are describing. There is a bulletin on it, what is the last 7 of the VIN?
