I have a BMW 740 diesel. My problem is that the car is loosing power about 70%.I have changed the fuel filter, but the problem still remain. Could you please help me?

I can give you generalizations but nothing specific at all. Is the engine worn or otherwise in some trouble? Is there a transmission issue at play? Do you have history on the car? Was and is the regular service complete? Has the car been to a BMW diesel mechanic yet? So many things can contribute to the poor performance of these cars that I do not have the space here to list them all.
