P0343 code for 2001 BMW 740i

I scanned a 2001 bmw 740i (for I know its germany made vehicle like VWs) for codes, got p0343, p0172, p0175 and p0103;cleared the codes but p0343(camshaft position sensor (A) (bank 1) circuit high input) stayed on. Cars idling is rough and also movement from stop is rough too, I have tried cleaning out the sensors but 'service engine light' came back on. What do I do?

Replace the cam sensor and reset adaptations
