I bought this rig couple weeks ago, the sunscreen is up and will not go down, the fuses are ok. Any guesses on what next, I haven't checked the switch yet. Thanks Gary Oster

Those rear sunshades are very complicated, you will have to remove the back panel and the side panels off of Roof, and maybe the backseat to get into the motor, if you are still having issues I will look at up in the manual and send you the information

Yes! It is a detailed job which involves removing the rear seat, seat back and parcel shelf to get to the motor.

It appears as though German engineering isn't what it used to be. They put a plastic gear in the motor which wears out over time. The fix is to get to the plastic gear and either replace it with another plastic gear or simply flip the gear 180 degrees. There is a metal gear available but it is very expensive (around $300).

You can research this issue by putting shogun into your search engine.
