l have a 1998 BMW 740il and l would like to add an after market radio. Lf l do install the after market radio will l lose control of my MID (Mult-Unit Display) and my Radio Screen Equalizer?

Yes and no, Depends on who installs your radio, and how you install it through the wiring harness in the left rear of the trunk, whoever installs it better understand BMW wiring.
