I recently had a new battery, spark plugs, crank sensor relay, installed in my vehicle. After one day from leaveing the shop the vehicle completely died suddenly. I was told that it must be my alternator; after installing this, the same thing happened the next day after picking the vehicle up. Obviously I was just running off the juice of my battery. Does anyone have any suggestions?

thanks!

Hi there,

First thing to do is make sure that the battery is indeed serviceable and capable of accepting a charge, then check the alternator charge rate. Do this first.

I suggest checking for a key-off draw at the battery, it should not exceed 50 milliamp. I also agree with Mark, check for battery condition and alternator output.
