1988 BMW 535 Radio Turns Off When Breaks Pressed

1988 BMW 535 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 236*** miles

Lets see anytime it rains and I use the breaks theres a 50% chance that my radio will shut off and then turn right back on. The break lights work. But the light says they are always out. Its really fustrating and I dont understand what my breaks have to do with my radio. Any thoughts?

Because the radio and the brake lights are on the same fuse, pretty dumb idea. Isolate the radio curcuit to its own stand alone inline fuse and thats it.
