2002 BMW 530 Replacing Fog Light lens

I have a broken fog light glass lens and I cannot find a way to replace the lens looking at the light? Do I have to take off the plastic wheel well protection and get underneath and pull the whole light out from inside the fender?

This repair can be done from the front after the grill is removed. Look for the four plastic rivets, 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom, remove them, pull the grill and you will see what to do next. ♥
