The OBDII P codes are sometimes misleading. When dealing with BMW, I usually like to see the manufacturers faults which are in hexadecimal. The P codes can certainly be interpreted to indicate the air mass is at risk and to satisfy my curious nature, I would like to know what the air mass is showing when at idle, it might help guide the diagnostic process.
