Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 BMW 525i

Think I had some bad gas in my tank last week.
it just started to idle very rough bearly taking off,
changed the fuel filter and finished the bad gas.
however it is almost the same. How long does it take to get the whole thing out of system. What else I should be looking into? Had it scanned at it showed missfire on the 3-4 injections randomely.
any idea?

Thanks

Clear out the faults and keep driving, it may take one or two complete tankfuls. If not then there may be an issue with another component. Is there a check engine light on?

Thanks Dr.
The check engine light is on, it has been going on and off for a while. Someone told me that it could be a Breathing Valve? Since it seems to be a regular problem in this type of BMW engine.
The plugs have been checked, one is not working at all and two are working in a 50% capacity.

The oil separator valve could be the cause.
